New Studio, New IP, New kind of PC Game

Fantastic news arrives from French studio’s Mindscape today that they have  unveiled a new  development team, namely “Puncher’s Impact“, who are currently working on an awesome new title , of which we have been fortunate enough to be able to bring you some of the very first screenshots.

Crashers is being hailed as a brand new single player and multiplayer online battle arena, or MOBA, for short. And sees a blend of the action, combat and racing genres. The online gaming experience will feature 10-12 players, all battling it out in fully, and deeply, customizable vehicles. Where you can complete challenges co-operatively with friends, or just blast the hell out of each other?

In single play mode players will be able to battle offline against deadly AI to better hone the skills required to take the fight to the multiplayer experience where they will battle against up to 12 other rivals. One cool feature that we noticed was that any XP earned whilst offline in the single player, can still be utilised for purchasing upgrades and stronger, more powerful cars and weaponary when in the online multiplay mode.

Primarily being touted toward the 15-35 year old online PC gamer, this is a title, that we feel, may yet well prove popular enough to help console owners make the transition to PC gaming, as with the constant fast and furious racing combat being frequently upgraded, and the guaranteed promise of additional downloadable content being added all the time, this could be the racer that sees some Xbox360 and PS3 gamers take that first step toward reaching for their PC controller? Time will tell, but even so, we know that there are still more than enough PC gamers left out there to make this title a huge success.

So keep your eyes peeled for GamesMediaPro updates right here and on our Twitter and Youtube pages for news on Crashers.  Developers, Puncher’s Impact are scheduling for a mid-December 2010 release with a Pegi rating of 12+.  Keep it right here gamer type people.

  1. Good day! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could get a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having trouble finding one? Thanks a lot!

  2. I can’t wait to get my little paws on this! I can already feel my GPA going down until I complete the game!
