Blitz 1UP have today announced a massive game giveaway to celebrate the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The ‘Man of the Match’ competition will be run via the Blitz 1UP Twitter account (www.Twitter.com/Blitz1UP) throughout the tournament and the lucky winner, picked at random from every retweet-and-follow logged during each game, will receive a free copy of SFG Soccer: Football Fever for PC, an updated version of the hit Xbox Live Indie Games arcade football title, developed by Stir Fry Games. Further prizes will be available at later dates to tie in with the closing stages of the World Cup.
SFG Soccer: Football Fever is a six-on-six soccer game with deep RPG-style player progression and levelling systems. Players can challenge their friends, with up to four local players supported and a full league system, which they can play co-op or solo while leading their team to battle it out in the 1st Division Championship Game. Bicycle kicks, headers, one-touch passes, slide-tackles and instant replays, it’s all here, with a host of special features:
- Easy to learn controls, suitable for the whole family
- Fast, addictive, arcade-style game play
- New enhancements include mouse controls, and a two-button ‘Casual Mode’ for more laid back gamers
- Customizable teams and leagues
- Multi-season Career Mode, featuring 64 teams from around the world.
The game is available to buy on Blitz1UP.com, Ztorm, GameStreamer Impulse, Real and GamersGate.
