Guild Wars 2-Ghosts of Ascalon Release Date Announced


Great news for all fan’s of the constatly evolving gaming opus as it gets its release date confirmed for July 2010.


250 years is a long time to wait between video game launches. So to inform fans of the Guild Wars franchise on the marriages, new races, unexpected alliances and dark forces that haunt Tyria, NCsoft and ArenaNet are releasing Ghosts of Ascalon, the first novel in the Guild Wars book series written by Matt Forbeck and Jeff Grubb.   Ghosts of Ascalon takes place a year before the start of Guild Wars 2, and deals with, among other things, the tentative truce between man and charr. 

While official sales begin in Europe on July 27, eager fans can learn more about the novel on the official Ghosts of Ascalon page. The page features an excerpt from the novel and information on the In-Book Map Graphic. Additionally, the website will link to Jeff Grubb’s blog post detailing the process of writing Ghosts of Ascalon.
