Artix Entertainment, the indie game development studio that delivers
download-free browser-based RPGs to 130 million users, has become a sponsor of
the American Cancer Society Relay for Life® to help the fight against cancer.
The entire Artix development team will be at the event.

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is an event
where participants walk around a track in celebration of the lives of people who
battled cancer, in memory of loved ones who have lost their lives to cancer, and
to fight back against the disease. Because cancer never sleeps, the relay is an
overnight event where people will be walking the track during the day and
throughout the night.  The event will last 18 hours starting on April
29th at 6 PM on the track at Sunlake High School.

More than 20 teams and 250 individuals will be
participating in the relay to raise awareness and funds to save lives from
cancer. At least one member from each team will be walking the track at all
times.  A Luminaria ceremony will begin after dark on the first night of the
relay, April 29th. During the ceremony, candles will be lit and
placed inside sand-filled bags to honor the people who have been touched by
cancer and to remember loved ones who lost their lives to the disease. A silent
lap around the track will follow the ceremony.

Bohn also noted that Artix will be sponsoring a
track-side tent with game merchandise, and 100% of the revenues generated during
the Relay for Life will be donated to the event.

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life has grown
into a global event.  Each year, more than 3.5 million people in 5,000
communities in the United States, along with additional communities in 19 other
countries, gather to take part in this global phenomenon and raise much-needed
funds and awareness to save lives from cancer.

Artix Entertainment joins other sponsors of Relay for Life
