Mastertronic announces strategic cooperation with Sony DADC

Dynamic, customer-focussed team aims to open UK market to Video games content owners

Publishing and sales specialist Mastertronic today announced a strategic service agreement with Video games manufacturing and distribution supply chain specialist, Sony DADC, targeted at helping all digital games content owners reach the UK retail market.

Mastertronic has earned a reputation for providing a focused and cost-effective sales service marrying retailers with content owners. Outstanding retail sales successes in 2010 with Sniper Ghost Warrior (112, 236 units, full price Xbox 360 chart, 31 weeks on the chart) and Happy Party with Hello Kitty and Friends (80,906 units DS full price chart, 57 weeks on the chart) are testament to their ability to gain focus and sales on titles from smaller publishers.

With a UK manufacturing plant in Southwater and UK distribution in Enfield, Sony DADC is the only service company which offers both in-house media replication and physical distribution based in the UK, and as such can help all content owners reduce time and cost to market. Sony DADC will focus on offering primary distribution services to complement their existing manufacturing services.
