PlayOn Adds Video Content from BET, TBS, Nickelodeon and PBS Kids

MediaMall Technologies, Inc. today announced that it has rolled out new programming available immediately for existing PlayOn Premium subscribers, including BET, TBS, Nickelodeon and PBS Kids. The latest release adds to the service’s existing library of online video content from providers that include Hulu (ABC, NBC, Fox, etc.), Amazon VOD, Netflix IQ, CBS, PBS, CNN, Comedy Central, ESPN3, NHL, MLB, MTV, VH1, Spike, TV.com, The Ultimate Fighter and others.

PlayOn only requires the download of software to your PC and streams online video content to your living room TV via Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or other DLNA-compatible device. Mobile users may stream all PlayOn content to their iPhone, iPod touch and iPad over 3G or Wi-Fi.

Existing PlayOn Premium customers can begin streaming content from the full list of providers immediately, while new users to the service can try it out free for 14 days, after which a subscription will be required at a cost of $39.99 for the first year and $19.99 for each year thereafter.
